Day 13 — Sandpoint, ID to Spokane, WA

After a lovely day off, we hit the road to head to Spokane, WA. On the way to our concert, we had a SURPRISE activity—Silverwood Theme Park! Silverwood has rollercoasters and a water park, and we spent a few hours riding the rides and eating some nice theme park food.

The chaperones also rode the rides—some had more fun than others

Ice cream and matching shirts from Glacier National Park!

After we rode the coasters, we headed to Audubon Park UMC in Spokane, WA. We had a wonderful audience in a beautiful sanctuary. We even had some people sing along to Go the Distance!

We had a ton of audience members come up and ask questions, including some children who wanted to ring bells. We like to start them early!!

We had some audience members who spoke Spanish, so one of our ringers who is fluent in Spanish, Lily, was able to tell her about our music ministry in Spanish! Very cool!!

We are so thankful for Hannah Wynn for coordinating our concert and host night at Audubon Park UMC. She even gave us mini Jesus figurines, so we took a photo with mini Jesus on our bells!

Audubon Park UMC was a church stay for us, so we took the opportunity before bed to polish bells and partake in some tasty snacks sent to us from former bell parent and tour chaperone, Sylvia Spangler. Thank you Sylvia!!!

Next up, Pendleton!!
