Bonus blog — favorite food and tour traditions, part III

On summer tour, we eat a lot of tasty food along the road and at churches. From senior lunches, to choir picnics, and to host home dinners, we have a lot of great food that helps fuel us for our concerts! Thanks to all who have fed us this year—we've had a lot of tasty burgers, baked potato bars, and pasta!

Sophi Arlen, Ringer #508: My favorite food on tour has been the queso that we had in Kalispell during the not-senior lunch. It tasted like a taco but in cheese form. My favorite tour tradition is Zooey opening the bank. I'm not sure if it's a tradition but I think it's really funny. I also like the vitamins, they're tasty.

Ani Smith, Ringer #512: There's been so much good food! I'm going to say the pizza that I had in Sandpoint where we had a hotel night. I got a caprese/margarita pizza and it was really good. I really like when we pass around our tour manuals and write notes to each other. I cry every time.

Molly Chidester, Ringer #478, assistant director: I really enjoyed the steak dinner that the chaperones had in Sandpoint. I also loved the food hall in Albuquerque and the baked potato bars were a hit! My favorite tour tradition is not just tour, but chi and bell pride. It centers us at the end of everyday. I also love the needlepoint!

Ella Rimmasch, Ringer #517: I loved the chicken that we had on the second night (the spicy one and it was so crispy). I really like the parables every morning, that's been really fun. The food for thought in the morning has been cool.

Marysia McGill, Ringer #501: The portobello burgers at Bozeman were so good!! I love staying in host homes because it's really cool to talk to locals and it's really awesome because they'll tell us fun facts about where they're from. They ask us questions and I wouldn't interact with them otherwise! I also love the bank because I love how Zooey opens the bank.
