Today is the last day of Tour we had a wonderful nights sleep at our host homes and Thanks to Lucy Anderson who reserved Evergreen Park for us for the day we had a wonderful place to hang out and base our day out of.
We met at 9:45 at Evergreen Park and hung out until 10:30 to go to Smash it Rage Rooms for our Activity.
We came back to the Park and had a great lunch provided by Josh one of our Dads - We had smoked tri-tip, smoked meatloaf, funeral potato's, roasted potato's, roasted veggies and asiago bread. Dave our bus driver came to hang out and have lunch with us also before we said goodbye and he headed back to Florida.
Then it was time to sign our tour manuals and vote for the Marsha Vilven Award.
CP and Molly gave some back ground and then all Ringers found a quiet place to reflect on the year and decided who they should vote for.
We came back together and started signing Tour Manuals, anyone who has done this in the past knows this is a lengthy process but fun to talk about and write fun things and memories of the tour and year.
Then we headed to the Church to meet our bus and start to unpack and clean the bus to set up for our Home Concert. We had one more devotional by Terry and handed out our Juneteenth Pins.
We then got ready to have dinner with our families, every ringer let their parents know what they missed food wise during tour and then all the parents bring food and we have a HUGE potluck dinner. Its so fun to see how excited everyone is to reunited.
We filled out belly's and our souls and then got ready to have our final concert for our home Congregation and Families. We played and amazing concert. Honor Bells were handed out, Marsha Vilven award was announced, and we ended our tour on a high note!
Honor Bells were handed out to
Jonas Nelson, Madi Oaks, Sophi Arlen, Marysia McGill, and Isa Barker.
The Marsha Vilven Award went to
Sophi Arlen
We sang Happy Birthday to Jonas and Maggie and then we took our final pictures and headed home. Ready for a break but looking forward to next year.
Have a happy Summer and Thank You everyone for their support and working so hard. Until next year!
