Day 4 — San Clemente, CA to Prescott, AZ

After a fantastic movie night during our host stay St. Andrew's By The Sea United Methodist Church, we had a wonderful breakfast by our host Emily Bredthauer, and headed out early for another drive day! We had misty "June Gloom" typical of LA but made for a cool morning for packing up the bus.

After packing up, Emily wished us safe travels on our next adventure to Prescott! Thanks again Emily!!

The trip to Prescott is about 7 hours, so everyone was excited to get some quality bus naps in.

One of our favorite stops on tour are the classic "roadside attractions". In Cabazon, there are the World's Biggest Dinosaurs, featured in Pee-wee's Big Adventure!

Those who weren't sleeping have gotten started on their needlepoints!

Our bus driver Chris has been awesome and can navigate anywhere!

We were so excited to play at Prescott United Methodist Church as this was a concert stop we had for the 2017 Southwest tour. While the ringers set up and practiced, the chaperones had a laundry detour at The Cleaning Machine a few blocks down the road from PUMC. We had a lot of laundry (seven washers and dryers!!!) to do, and Marguerite was fantastic for letting us do the laundry right until closing time.

We had our first concert tonight in formals and the ringers performed a fantastic concert to a very enthusiastic audience. During the question and answer part of the concert, an attendee stood up and said some very kind words! Thanks to all who came!

Coming out into the audience for Gaudete, the encore, is always a hit!

Always appreciative of the AV people at all of our host churches—thank you AV people!!

More chaperone mischief and @TablescapesbyTerry (he'll be available for weddings and receptions after tour).

We had another lovely visit with the Janeceks, WBR parents of Jim (Ringer #195), John (Ringer #196), and Tom Janecek (Ringer #168).

Looking forward to a short drive tomorrow to Flagstaff!!
