The Wesley Bell Ringer 2022 Summer Tour Day 12

Anacortes, WA to Sedro-Woolley, WA

Day 12

Today our travels to the next church in Mt. Vernon were not very far from Anacortes, so we had time to play in the area. Our first stop was Deception Pass State Park where we took a hike through the forest. It was a trail where we started at the guest center, hiked through the forest, and then ended up passing under the road where a bridge went over us. We then hiked up and crossed a longer bridge with beautiful views. We went into Mt. Vernon and got lunch and did a little shopping. We then sopped at a park in the area and everyone chose between taking a nap, playing kickball, or exploring.  It was a relaxing afternoon where we all spent a bit of down time before going to the church to prepare for the concert.

Today we went to Deception Pass State Park and walked across the bridges, it was beautiful, and we got some amazing pictures. After that we went in to Mount Vernon town, and explored for a while, and then got lunch, most of the ringers ate at this delicious taco spot. After Mount Vernon we stopped at this park for a while, some people took naps, others played kickball, some people did drawing, and even some Mario Kart. After our time at the park we went to Sedro-Wolley and played our first outside concert this tour, we had an audience of 110 people! Including the father of the former director of the Wesley Bell Ringers, Terry Waite, one Roger Waite. We had a very relaxing day and and interesting concert to say the least.
