Has anyone been keeping track of states The Wesley Bell Ringers visited so far? In 8 and a half days on tour, The Wesley Bell Ringers have traveled from Utah through 7 states on the first half of tour. And if you count or first overnight bus driver exchange in Wyoming, that's 8 states in 8 days.
When in Wisconsin, a trip to The House on the Rock in Green Springs, WI is a traditional must do Wesley Bell Ringer activity. Many bell ringers, including a couple who are on tour this summer have spent time at this fascinating adventure spot. Though three hours seems like ample time to see everything, today The Wesley Bell Ringers barely scratched the surface of rooms, collections, & musical experiences at House on the Rock. There is always next tour, right?
Tonight the Wesley Bell Ringers played in Burnsville, Minnesota at the River Hills United Methodist Church, the home church of Brenda Barta, Wesley Bell Ringer #87. Not only did Brenda play in the choir back in 1974, she has been The Wesley Bell Ringer point of contact for several more tours helping to get the choir back to MN throughout the years. It is always a privilege to play for alumni bell ringers & The Wesley Bell Ringers were thrilled to play at Brenda's church.
