Day 2 - Ogalalla, Nebraska to Des Moines, Iowa

On day 2 of the tour, we left Ogalalla, NE to travel to Des Moines, Iowa. This was another long bus ride day. Long bus rides make for good bonding time; You get to find out about ringers you don't know very well. One of the great things about tour is seeing different parts of the country and meeting new people. Today we met Lee, owner of Lee's Marble Museum and Flea Market in York, Nebraska.  Lee has been collecting marbles for over 53 years and has close to one million marbles. It's been called the largest collection in the world. The ringers got to meet Lee and talk to him about his marbles. Even better was the flea market! It actually was just like our rummage sale, only on a smaller scale. :)

This is Lee, owner  and collector of the marbles in Lee's Marble Museum.

Have you ever seen so many marbles?

We stayed the night in Des Moines, Iowa, where there were even better thunderstorms than the night before. The ringers are looking forward to picking up Terry, Trudy and Chris in Chicago on Saturday, and to playing their first concert on Sunday night.
