We had another big day ahead of us heading to downtown Boston, the first big city of the East coast we would be hitting! Everyone departed Plymouth, MA in high spirits after a great concert and a wonderful set of hosts to wish us a safe rest of our journey.
Our main plan for the day was hitting the most historic sites along the Boston Freedom Trail, we started at the Granary Burying Ground. Established in 1660, this is where Sam Adams, John Hancock, and Paul Revere were buried to name a few.
A stop at the fabled "Bell in Hand Tavern" was a must for a photo op. Quincy market was a great lunch stop with plenty of options in an awesome historic building. As always the ringers (and Terry) got up to some shenanigans.
We happened to be in Boston the day of one of the FIFA world cup matches, there was such a fun and excited energy radiating from the city.
Our concert stop for the night was Slatersville, RI at Slatersville Congregational Church. We were instantly welcomed by some of the most joyful and warm congregants we have ever met. The community and love simply radiated out of the building, and the ringers most definitely felt it's presence.
We had SUCH a wonderful time speaking to everyone after the concert. Thank you Slatersville!
