Day 9 — Salt Lake City, UT to Bozeman, MT

It's hard to believe we're on the second leg of our figure eight tour! Today begins our trip to Montana, where we are headed into a winter storm advisory. It's also hard to believe when we played in Mesquite NV a week ago, it was 108F. This tour has seen all four seasons!

In Salt Lake City, we had so much fun staying at our host homes (with some of us sleeping in other ringer's houses!) and got to see some familiar furry faces. Jonas and Conner got to stay at the Regniers' house and hung out with Hobbes. Hobbes made a special appearance onto the bus!

Cian and AJ got to go home with Katie and meet Bagheera, her fluffy cat. It's not very often you get hosted by your own director!

Several of our hosts were WBR alumni and current apPRAISEation members! Pam (Ringer #105) and Dave (Ringer #114) Allison were excited to finally host ringers! Current and former apPRAISEation members/directors also took a picture!

After we bid farewell to our hosts (and said Happy Father's Day!), we had a beautiful drive up I-15. Montana has very scenic potty stops!

We arrived at Bozeman United Methodist Church and found that we had special reserved parking! Not everyday you see yourself on a parking sign :). This tour stop was particularly special as WBR alumna Pamela Adams (Ringer #476) has rang in the Bozeman UMC choir and helped organize our tour stop. Thanks Pamela!!

The church was very close to downtown Bozeman, so after rehearsing we had time to explore downtown and several of us stopped at a fantastic local bookstore, Country Bookshelf. We got great cards, stickers, and books!

We had an absolutely fantastic barbecue dinner with burgers, chicken, and portobello mushrooms! Boom the burgermiester took care of the grilling, and we had fantastic salads and desserts. What a treat!

We had a great crowd for our concert and were so thankful for all of our audience members who chose to spend their Fathers' Day evening with us!

The church had beautiful stained glass windows!

Audience members wanted to take a closer look at the equipment, including a metallurgist (they were excited to hear that our founding director was also a metallurgist).
