Day 3 - Baton Rouge to Hattiesburg

We left Baton Rouge after a restful night with hosts and made our way to Oak Alley, an old plantation with beautiful grounds and trees.

After Oak Alley we made our way to New Orleans for beignets and sightseeing.

We drove to Hattiesburg and unloaded the bus in the rain but it didn’t dampen our spirits. The church had pizza waiting for us and a lot of tasty desserts.

Jill Hershberger, who rang with Karen, helped arrange for the choir to visit this church:

Some ringers went to host homes and others stayed at the church. There were some really nice youth rooms with couches so we all slept well but still had time for some fun:

The next morning we had chicken biscuits, Stapley's donuts and other treats before loading up the bus.
Next stop:  Pensacola!
