The Wesley Bell Ringer 2018 Summer Bell Tour - Day 12 Alexandria MN to Fargo ND

The Wesley Bell Ringers moved on to Fargo North Dakota today, but before saying goodbye to Minnesota, thanks again to the Loken family for all the fun & hosting while in MN.  In Alexandria,we were sad to say goodbye to Diego & Eric as they both had to get back to SLC for work & other pre made plans.  As a first year ringer, Diego was fantastic & will prove to be a valuable bell ringer for many years to come.  Eric met up with the choir in Chicago to help chaperone for a week.  Eric, we know that we won't sell those CD's as well as you do, but we will try.

Another shorter bus day, so good day for an adventure along the way.  Today The Wesley Bell Ringers had an opportunity to walk across the mighty Mississippi river at the head ways at Lake Itasca.  As has been done a few times before (says Ed), the choir & chaperones walked along the stones/bridge at the headway so they could say "been there, done that".  The lake was yet again another amazing MN lake & the surrounding area was filled with ferns, wildflowers, and green foliage everywhere.

And today is the day you have all been waiting for - the traditional kids sleeping on the bus photos.  Please note, not all kids are shown here as some have build elaborate sleeping nooks which disguise their any opportunity for a great photo.

Tonight's concert was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Fargo North Dakota.  A beautiful cathedral style church from the 1900 time period, it was a pleasure to play here to a very large crowd.

Goodbye Diego!  Have fun on your next adventure.  Eric, we will see you at the home concert SUNDAY!

The Loken's get first  prize for best host home/activity director ever.  Thanks again.

These three thinking about a tour that travels the 2552 miles down the Mississippi River.  That would be fun, right?

If you can sleep here, you can sleep anywhere.
