Wesley Bell Ringer 2017 Summer tour - DAY 9 - Tucson Arizona to Las Cruces New Mexico - Sunday June 18th, 2017

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OF THE WESLEY BELL RINGER DAD'S!!!!!

The Wesley Bell Ringers meet many amazing friends & creatures along the tour route & in Tucson, they met Snickerdoodle, the church dog.  Hands down their favorite creature.  Katie, can we get a Wesley Bell Ringer dog????

Katie, PLEASE???  Snickerdoodle can sit in the back with us!

Three great smiles - Katie, Snickerdoodle, and Anna

What was thought to be a bus day from Tucson Arizona to Las Cruces New Mexico turned into one of the best last minute adventure stops along the way.  Katie & Derek worked through the travel schedule to find two hours for The Wesley Bell Ringers to explore Tombstone Arizona.  They left feeling a bit more connected with the history of the WILD WILD WEST!

Anna & Jack S taking a ride in Tombstone

Chaperones smiling because we sent kids out on their own in Tombstone this morning!

Ringers super excited to learn more about the history of Tombstone

Good try Holden, stick to bell ringing!

The fastest 30 second shootout in history.

Go visit Tombstone.  It is fantastic!

After Tombstone, The Wesley Bell Ringers got back on the bus for a three hour ride to Las Cruces New Mexico.  A little nap time, a little fun time, and some time to reflect on the tour so far helped the ringers get focused for stop #9 and show #9.  Kudos to your kids, 9 days of work without a day off, more work than most do in a work week & they are still holding strong.

The conversations vary minute to minute.  This must have been a good one!

Making music on the bus!

To be a fly on the wall for this conversation.  Ed, Katie, and Anna on the bus.

On our way to Las Cruces we moved back into Mountain time (lost an hour) as well as were scheduled to play an early concert at 6pm.  The Wesley Bell Ringers set up at record time & were treated to an amazing church dinner.  Tonight The Wesley Bell Ringers played for a full house including The Sun City Ringers who traveled from El Paso Texas to hear the ringers play!  The Wesley Bell Ringers are hitting hand bell rock star status!
