The Wesley Bell Ringer 2019 summer tour - Day 6 - Syracuse NY to West Rutland VT

The first of three hotel nights was fantastic.  After a day of play, what could be better than a quick swim before a good night sleep in a hotel bed?  For many of the choir, this was their first Wesley Bell Ringer hotel night experience & as they have been doing all along this tour, the choir represented their group well & the chaperone group managed not to leave anyone behind.
group breakfast is our favorite kind of breakfast!

The landscape began to change quickly as The Wesley Bell Ringers traveled from NY to West Rutland VT.  Unfortunately, the weather also changed & similar to what we have been experiencing back home, rain rain rain!  Rather than trekking in the mud for a planned hiking activity, Katie & Anna sought out an alternative activity before arriving at the concert site.  The Mass MOCA located in North Adams MA is a contemporary art museum in an old fabric mill site.  Though their time at the Mass MOCA was short, everyone (including Ed) ranked this stop as a 5 star stop & many have already begun talking about coming back & seeing more on their next tour opportunity through this region.

Loved to see the advertising

The Wesley Bell Ringer's daily mail haul.  They are feeling the love, THANK YOU!

This audience member asked during the concert if he had to go all the way to Utah to ring a hand bell.  Lucky for him, Louis gave him a quick lesson in VT.

Tonight's concert in St Bridget's Catholic Church was a return concert for The Wesley Bell Ringers.  Last visit was in 2013.  This remarkable granite church was a unique venue for the choir from the location in the country side of VT to the layout of the building & historical significance; however, the fans were consistent to who The Wesley Bell Ringers have met so far along the way - welcoming, excited, and appreciative of the work & effort the choir has put into each note of every concert.  Thank you St Bridget's!
