Day Three - Pacific Grove California to San Jose California, by way of San Francisco

The choir made a loop today traveling into San Francisco for a really cool boat tour that took us under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island.  More sightseeing followed and then we trekked back to San Jose.  First Methodist in San Jose is a lovely downtown church!

Day Two - Sparks Nevada to Pacific Grove California

The choir headed west from Sparks, stopping for a quick snack at Donner's Pass then on to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz.  Garlic Fries were the favorite snack, although Justin preferred the deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich. After rides and a toe dip in the Pacific Ocean it was on to Pacific Grove and a great concert at a beautiful church.

 

Day One - Salt Lake City to Sparks Nevada.

Day One was a complete success!  Tia Mittelstadt did a great job promoting the concert and we had over 120 in the audience.  Jon and Austin and others at the church helped with a wonderful meal.  The concert was excellent and everything is running like clockwork.  Former ringer April Barber attended the concert.  Ed remembered her as one of the original St. Cecilia Ringers.

Today we are off to the boardwalk and ocean in Santa Cruz, then to the concert tonight in Pacific Grove.
