The Wesley Bell Ringer 2018 Summer Bell Tour - Day 11 - Burnsville MN to Alexandria MN

Today The Wesley Bell Ringers stayed in the state of Minnesota which equaled less time on the bus & more time to enjoy a day at Lake Carlos State Park about an hour & a half away from last night's concert.  Thanks to Tom & Sally Loken, parents to alumni Krista & Emily Loken, the choir had a really fantastic day on the lake.  Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, & a pontoon boat were all available for the group to enjoy as well as a great picnic lunch which was planned out & picked up by Tom & Sally allowing the group extra time to play.  THANK YOU so much.  Today was great.  It was also the day that The Wesley Bell Ringers learned about a lake parasite (they all are convinced that they have it already or will be getting it soon) called SWIMMERS ITCH.  A parasite that is currently living on the shorelines of the lake that will cause itching discomfort if the swimmer does not dry off quickly.  Anti itch cream here we come!

Tonight's concert was held at The First Lutheran Church in Alexandria Minnesota.  Another great Midwest town with another great audience. Dinner was fantastic, especially the hot dish (known in Utah as a casserole).   Despite the long day at the beach of Lake Carlos, The Wesley Bell Ringers played well & accomplished their mission of #begood
