It feels like yesterday that I joined the bell choir as an awkward teenager. And now, as my final tour is almost over, I am grown up. I don't feel like I've changed all that much, but I know that I must have matured and become more sentient. I've seen all but three of the United States; made the best friends I will probably ever have; and am fortunate enough to be in the choir with my younger brother and see him grow. I've been a member of other groups: Scouts, music ensembles, sports teams. None of them even come close in comparison, in my mind, to the bell choir. I've had the best and worst experiences from this organization, and they are experiences I wouldn't trade for the world!
